Plumbing and Wind

What a windy day. I hope everyone escaped the damage. We just had part of the Temp fence blown over. A heap of sticks and leaves everywhere. More bricks were layed yesterday and the plumbers have finished off all the pipes. They have also connected the mains water to them. I guess this is the testing of them.

It's interesting how the water is put through the to island bench.
A picture taken down the road from us. Wasn't it a weird looking day!!

I won't call you `little piggies' but I'm glad your house is made of brick !!! It looks totally untouched by the havoc yesterday.

It is interesting how the water is put through to the island bench. Presumably power has to go through there as well. With our place they put a pipe through the concrete slab and pushed the cable and ran everything into that.

Love the bricks!

Never wondered how the water/power went to the island. Will look forward to seeing mine as I'm having a power point on the side of the island bench (opposite fridge space) so it will be interesting to see how that is done.

We think that a pipe like Perry's should of been run under the slab to advoid the concrete being cut. I don't think that this is the standard way of doing this.
