Catching up now

I managed to get some photos today. PD have been busy today.
The gas pipe has been installed from the street to the meter next to the house. All the plumbing has been completed. What a difference a few taps make to the house. Below the ensuite and the mirror. The rooms look bigger with the mirrors. It will look so much better when the place is cleaned up. I'm so tempted to clean it now...

The screen door is still in the WIR and I guess that somebody forgot that this is 1500mm instead of 1200mm.
Bathroom view from the door.

These are the standard taps which I wanted changed to the other side so we don't reach across the vanity.
Our straight toilet with a toilet. It's so exciting and it even works!
The WC with all that extra cupboard space.
Splashbacks. The colour changes from a deep red to a brighter red depending on how bright the light is.

The sides below the windows are yet to be installed. The rangehood was installed last week.
This is the space between the fridge and pantry. The other photos are all blurry unfortunately.

Mini girls bedroom. The extra cupboard.
The sliding door locks have been changed to be a dead lock. The idea is that a small child can't just push the lever down and walk out onto the balcony. Yes there will be a fire plan. Keys kept close by and the balcony according to Marita is going to have a slide running down to safety. When I said we also needed a flying fox from the windows, I received that disapproving look. I just don't get it....

I'm just going to pretend that we have caught up for now. We still have different areas completed. The big test will be fixing up any issues after we have the inspection.

There is still a fair bit to finish off.

You could get an inflatable slide from Qantas to roll out if you needed it ! Let's just hope you don't !!!
I love the height adjustable shower heads. It looks like a hotel.
If you don't look at B&P's blog does that mean you're WAY ahead ? Ignorance is bliss !?!?

Love the splashback!!! What colour is it? We went with Red Box... if that's the colour it turns out to be, we'll be very happy with our choice! If not, we want that one!!!!

House is looking great also! I would be so tempted to clean up just to get a feel for the finished product too!

The splashback is in 'Seductress' on the standard glass splashback. We are also having the feature wall the same colour.

It will look better when the light are powered up..

Thanks M&M. I think the splashback looks gorgeous. That's one more amendment for contract :) We just weren't sure what red box will look like in application but seeing urs, that's exactly what we want so we're gonna play it safe. Hope u don't mind us stealing ur colour!
