The boys had a conveyor to lift all the bricks up the scaffolding today. There was a further 10 packets of bricks delivered and most has been moved ready for the second floor.
The electrical has also been done.
The Rumpus \ Alfresco has had the guttering put in place also. Lets hope that the rest of the roof will be finished this week.
And here is the promised picture of the tradies lunch room. This all started when we had the really hot weather. The chippies moved the table and some chairs, we had against the fence and moved them under the tree. When the frame was up we cleaned them down and moved them into the living room. Since then we have added a rubbish bag which sometimes is used. I should probably add an ashtray. Today they have left the newspaper.
Oh the bottom corner is plaster. Its been there since last week all wrapped up in plastic.
I'm always getting picked on for my spelling. Fixed up chippies and wrapped. You know what I mean.

Looking good guys. Really taking shape, love the bricks :-)
Enjoyed the story of the lunch room. The tradies probably really appreciate having a table!
That table is missing scones with jam and cream ! And where are the service staff to wait on that table ??

All moving along well. With reference to CC's comment, I'm not sure if the tradies would be interested in jam and scones, more like a meat pie and a 6 pack. Also CC, its past your bedtime.

I didn't realise that I communicated with my husband through M&M's blog now !?!?!
What time will you be home for dinner tonight ?
Question for M&M - b/c it's YOUR blog - what is the join in the rumpus wall for ?
There are spaces\gaps right around the house. These are called articulation joints. Due to heat and cold, expansion and contraction occurs. The gaps are filled with rubbery stuff to allow movement. Hopefully no cracks will appear in the future.
I like the little window on the back wall. I thought it was a door.
Can I come and play games and draw at that table ?
Can I come with you to look at some more houses please ?
Is there a TV in your house yet ?
Bye !
The builders actually had croissants today.
The pictures are generally taken late in the day.
Hi Louise,
I think you will have to wait a while before you can play games in the house, it is nearly locked up now.
We haven't got a TV in there yet, but as soon as we move in you can come over to watch cartoons with us :-)
We will take you to see the new Rowland house in Cranbourne North. It is the perfect size for your family. I think you should convince Daddy to buy it for you.
