Bricks Cleaned

Day 82 - The bricks have been cleaned today. The plaster cornice has also been put in. We are looking forward to the scaffolding being removed and the site cleaned this week. It looks like the staircase will be installed soon.

The master room ensuite and WIR which we changed from the plan.
The chipy did the front eave on Saturday morning and he pulled the extra wiring through for us. It was a case of being there at the right time.
There was more plaster on the brickwork below than there was on the walls. All the rubbish was thrown down the balcony.
It a good job that the bricks get cleaned. This was taken tonight with a flash because it was dark.

Back wall.
The stairs to be assembled. No upgrade for the stairs. They will be covered in carpet anyway.

Look out Bernadette and Perry - you are hot on their tails !

Compared to us you seem to be obsessed with cleanliness. The mess of that plaster just looks like our house after dinner !

Me again.
I like the brick colour by the way - it's a much richer colour now that they're cleaned.

Just when we thought that we were close, Bernadette & Perry, go and get a garage roof, cabinets and doors. Always a step ahead. At least we know what will be happening next week!

You guys are definitely closing the gap. Wow! I think our cabinets are being installed today.

It's gonna be a race to the finish.
BTW - what alterations have you made to the Ensuite and WIR? from the picture I can't really tell?

Hi T&L, We have aligned the WIR with the ensuite. On the original plan the WIR is about 500mm shorter.

Bernadette & Perry, Our SS keeps asking how far behind we are compared to you. Can't wait to see your cabinets installed.

Looking good. Bricks look great (but I'm biased seeing as we are having the same!). Can't believe your stairs are next. I though B&P were a long way ahead but your guys have obviously worked very fast. T&L you'll be at that stage soon. I still have a flat piece of dirt sob sob sob. Anyway back to M&M, what's next for you?

I met the guy delivering the stairs last night. He mentioned that we should not walk on them until the glue dries. So tonight we will just look. I know that the scaffolding is coming down today and the site is to be cleaned. After that I guess PD may start the fix. Have a look at B&P - our crystal ball.
